Python 3.3.5
Python 3.3.5 release candidate 1 was released on February 23th, 2014. This releasefixes a regression with the zipimport functionality in 3.3.4 and several other bugs found in Python3.3.4.

PIL (Python Imaging Library) adds many image processing features to Python. Python 3 and Python 2 can coexist on the same Mac without conflicts, just the commands will differ slightly. This release fully supports OS X 10.9 Mavericks. In particular, this releasefixes an issue that could cause previous versions of Python to crash when typingin interactive mode on OS X 10.9.

- PEP 380, syntax for delegating to a subgenerator (yield from)

- PEP 418, extended platform-independent clocks in the 'time' module
- PEP 412, a new key-sharing dictionary implementation that significantlysaves memory for object-oriented code
- PEP 362, the function-signature object
- The new 'faulthandler' module that helps diagnosing crashes
- The new 'unittest.mock' module
- The new 'ipaddress' module
- The 'sys.implementation' attribute
- A policy framework for the email package, with a provisional (seePEP 411) policy that adds much improved unicode support for emailheader parsing
- A 'collections.ChainMap' class for linking mappings to a single unit
- Wrappers for many more POSIX functions in the 'os' and 'signal' modules, aswell as other useful functions such as 'sendfile()'
- Hash randomization, introduced in earlier bugfix releases, is nowswitched on by default
